Youth Volunteer Training Program 2025

The “Youth Volunteer Training Program,” organized by the the Association of Volunteers Social Service Macao and sponsored by the Henry Fok Foundation, was successfully conducted from September 6 to 27. The program included 12 hours of foundational training, 12 hours of project-based training, and 6 hours of service internship.

Aimed at guiding young volunteers to understand the landscape of social services in Macao, the course explored the definition, code of conduct, obligations and rights, significance, and value of volunteer work, thereby enhancing their comprehensive understanding of the field. Additionally, the program assisted participants in deepening self-awareness, reflecting on the meaning of volunteer work. This approach enhances service quality and contributes to the professionalization of volunteer work in Macao.
