【2025 Activity Review】Symposium on the Application of Sustainable Development, Intelligence and Wisdom in Volunteerism 2025

In response to the United Nations  2026 “ International Volunteer Year for Sustainable Development” (IVY 2026) global promotion initiative—Global Dialogues towards a call to action for the future of volunteering (online)—the “Sustainable Development and Technology Volunteering Applications Symposium,” hosted by the Association of Volunteers Social Service Macao and sponsored by the Macao Foundation, was successfully held on June 13, 2025.

The event was honored to invite experts and scholars from both domestic and overseas, who led discussions and shared insights. Utilizing the Sustainable Development Goals as a catalyst, the participants collaboratively planned innovative developments in volunteer services and exchanged valuable experiences and knowledge. The event aimed to effectively communicate the “One Country, Two Systems” principle, highlighting Macao's role as an international platform and enhancing the quality of volunteer services in the new era, contributing to the development of volunteers.
