A. Briefing

All the participants of this activity attended the briefing session. The briefing was mainly to introduce the flow of the activity and the points to note. It also guided the participants to think about the significance of the flag-selling activity for themselves.
B. A two-day flag-selling activity.

Everyone is taking their volunteer work seriously.

There was also a presentation session after the event. Some of the participants who had participated in several flag-selling activities before mentioned that it was their first time to participate in the presentation session after the flag-selling event, and they felt that it was different from the flag-selling activities they had participated in the past, and they had gained something.
The presentation gave them a deeper understanding of flag-selling. It also inspired them to extend the problems they encountered in the activity to their daily lives, such as how to look at and cope with the situation of being rejected, or how to think of solutions when they encounter difficulties. In the end, they will be able to apply these experiences to their daily lives.
C. Concluding Sharing Session
During the Concluding Sharing Session held on February 23rd. First of all, we shared with the volunteers what they have achieved during the two days. We also emphasized the purpose of the donation and the significance of the volunteers' contribution to the promotion of social volunteerism.
After the flag-selling activity, each volunteer filled out a questionnaire about the benefits of the activity, and the results showed that the volunteers had gained a lot from the activity.

Whether it was the first time for volunteers to participate in the flag-selling activities, or those who had participated in it several times, most of them were able to realize the meaning of flag-selling and increase their concern for the society, and even inspired empathy when they were rejected over and over again during flag-selling.

Later on, through group discussion, participants shared their feelings during the activity. Many participants said that the activity helped them to know more about the society, especially the social problems.
They said that social problems are “various kinds of injustices or phenomena that need to be improved in the society”. Volunteering is an opportunity for them to have more contact with the society and understand different phenomena in the society. Through the activity, they realized that they have to pay more attention to the things happening around them in the future.
The activity also made them think more about the role of “volunteer”, for example, volunteering is not only about giving, but also an opportunity to learn and grow.

In order to recognize the contribution of our volunteers, to acknowledge their efforts and to enhance their sense of honor in contributing to the community, we have also set up a certificate presentation ceremony to award each volunteer with a certificate as an incentive.
