International Good Deeds Day 2025

The “Good Deeds Day” Exchange and Sharing Session, part of the 2025 International Good Deeds Day series of activities organized by the Association of Volunteers Social Service Macao and sponsored by the Macao Foundation. The event was successfully held on November 1st, gathering representatives and volunteers from over 20 government agencies, enterprises, and non-governmental organizations, along with more than 100 citizens. Through the theme of “Love”, participants collectively responded to International Good Deeds Day, promoting volunteerism and spreading positive energy.

The series of activities began in October, including the “Happiness of Good Deeds Volunteer Activities” and “Volunteer Promotion Lectures in Schools”, with the exchange and sharing session serving as the launch event.

The event featured representatives from The Network of Mongolian Volunteer Organizations, the Jiangmen Wuyi Volunteer Association's Directly Affiliated Volunteer Service Team, the Hangzhou Youth Activity Center's Brother and Sister Volunteer Service Team, Hong Kong Parenting Education Experts, as well as multiple government departments, social organizations, and business entities.The event featured representatives from the Ulaanbaatar Mongolian Volunteer Network, the Jiangmen Wuyi Volunteer Association's Directly Affiliated Volunteer Service Team, the Hangzhou Youth Activity Center's Big Brother and Sister Volunteer Service Team, Hong Kong parent-child education experts, as well as multiple government departments, community organizations, and corporate representatives. Participants shared insights on doing good deeds, introduced their unique volunteer services and public welfare initiatives, promoting the spirit of volunteerism through both advocacy and practice.

Following the two “Volunteer Promotion Lectures in Schools” completed in October and the “Good Deeds Day” sharing session on November 1, the Association also organized the “Happiness of Good Deeds Volunteer Activity” on November 16. Volunteers were led to visit the Dogs' shelter in Anima Macau to provide daily assistance. The activity aimed not only to raise public awareness and concern for abandoned animals but also to promote volunteerism, spread positive social energy, and deepen the community's understanding and practice of life care and responsibility.
