New Era Volunteer Service Development Program
The “New Era Volunteer Service Development Course” organized by the Association of Volunteers Social Service and sponsored by the Social Welfare Bureau, was successfully held on December 13–14. This course aimed to strengthen theoretical understanding and practical skills in volunteer service, establishing a solid foundation for advancing the development of local volunteer work.

The course content focuses on the development trends of volunteer services in the new era, divided into three central sections: First, explaining the core philosophy and values regarding volunteer services of AVSM; Second, systematically introducing the development history and current status of volunteer services in mainland China; Third, analyzing the global volunteer development trends revealed by IAVE and exploring Macao's positioning and role within the international volunteer field.

In the practical section, participants experience firsthand the process of translating theory into action through simulation exercises and case studies. They not only recognize the challenges of improving outdated service models but also gain a profound appreciation for the social significance and long-term impact of volunteer service.
