Volunteer Work Management Course
The "Volunteer Work Management Course," organized by the Association of Volunteers Social Service Macao and funded by the Macao Foundation, successfully conducted five sessions from October 18-19, 25-26, and November 2. The course aims to enhance participants' understanding and management skills in volunteer work, cultivating volunteer talent for community organizations in Macao and promoting service professionalism.
The curriculum covers the landscape of social services in Macao, the core concepts of volunteer work, and its social value, helping participants build a comprehensive theoretical foundation while strengthening their commitment and sense of responsibility towards service.
Furthermore, the course provides training in management skills required at various stages of volunteering, including team leadership, supervision techniques, mentor development, and overall management strategies, preparing future supervisors and managers. Instructors guide participants to build trust and shape positive behavior patterns, encouraging them to explore diverse services, broaden their horizons, and enhance their skills, thereby steadily advancing personal capabilities and overall service quality towards professionalism.
