【2024 Activity Review】Star Volunteer Award Scheme

Organised by the Association of Volunteers Social Service Macao and sponsored by Sands China Ltd., the 2024 Star Volunteer Awards were successfully held at the Emperor Hotel on November 30, 2024 and at the first floor of PouTai Social Service Building on December 1, 2024. This year's Outstanding Volunteer Election received nominations from 33 different organizations, schools, and companies, with a total of 118 candidates aged between 13 and 80. The candidates were eva luated and selected by approximately 35 judging representatives from different schools, institutions and companies.
The "Star Volunteer Award" is not only an honor, but also a kind of inheritance and promotion of the volunteer spirit, which encourages every volunteer to continue on the road of service.
The "2024 Star Volunteer Awards" will present the "Star Volunteer Gold Award" and "Star Volunteer Silver Award" on November 30 and December 1 respectively to recognize volunteers who have performed outstandingly in community service and charity activities. A total of 3 "Star Volunteer Gold Awards" and 40 "Star Volunteer Silver Awards" were awarded this time. The winners' speeches were heartfelt and the scene was touching.
