粵港澳大灣區由中國國務院總理李克強在2017年3月召開的第十二屆全國人大五次會議上的政府工作報告中正式推出。粵港澳大灣區發展已成為一項國家策略，目標是建設世界級城市群，輻射和帶動環珠三角和泛珠三角區域發展，並為「一帶一路」作為一個重要支撐區。在這一大背景下，為了發揮澳門一國兩制的獨特優勢和“一中心、一平台、一網絡”的功能，深化大灣區深度合作探索，以及促進「民心相通」，本會積極推動和發展義務工作，計劃於2020年7月至9月，與香港及廣東省共同開展「粵港澳大灣區義工交流服務體驗計劃2020」，為粵港澳大灣區的青年朋友建構了一座開放自由的交流平臺，擴闊參加者的視野，三地的青年將參加一系列由青年人構思的義工交流活動，並且透過三地的義務工作，本澳青年能了解到義務工作在社會之重要性，以及培養其承擔感和責任感，提升青少年的自信心和溝通技巧。

期望透過是次交流活動，參加者不但結交來自大灣區的青年朋友，瞭解不同地區的文化與差異，而且通過每年到不同的機構參與義務工作，能夠重新認識義務工作；通過分工與合作，能夠促使參加者進入扮演的角色當中，體驗該角色所需的責任感；通過是次活動的經歷，能讓參加者思考民族的未來與發展，並能促進青年人研究自己的身份和志向，尋找在澳門及祖國及發展中所擔任的角色和責任，增加身份認同感。

本會透過組織及舉辦是次義工交流活動，能讓參加者擴闊眼光及視野，培養其對國家和澳門的責任感，亦能使澳門青年能坦誠與人溝通，積極關心社會事務，期望參與活動後，能在校園內推廣義工理念，影響更多青年朋友，帶動其參與義務工作的氛圍，最後將在其他地區所學所得，實際服務於澳門社會。
