Future Village of Nepal International Volunteer Service

    澳門義務工作者協會青年義工組主辦，尼泊爾未來之村組織協辦，澳門特別行政區政府教育暨青年局及金沙中國有限公司贊助的“澳門國際義工交流計劃2014-尼泊爾未來之村國際義工服務”活動已圓滿結束。

    The "Macau International Volunteer Exchange Program 2014-Nepal Future Village International Volunteer Service" activity sponsored by Education and Youth Affairs Bureau of the Government of Macao Special Administrative Region and sands China Ltd. has been successfully concluded.

    是次活動一共聚集二十位本澳義工在8月9至17日共9天前往尼泊爾未來之村進行義教服務體驗。未來之村位於首都加德滿都以北100公里的Katunge村中，透過義工對村中孩童進行義教及探訪，協助村中小朋友舉行英語及其他學習班、修建校園設施，冀能為落後地區孩子營造更好的學習環境。參與是次活動的義工表示是次活動挑戰了自己極限，要徒步行走8小時山路才能到達未來之村，感受到尼泊爾人民勤勞和樸實之特質；瞭解到義工存在之重要性；更能夠身體力行，親身為山區小朋友盡一點心力，本次尼泊爾未來之村國際義工服務獲益匪淺。

    A total of 20 Volunteers from Australia visited the future village of Nepal for 9 days from August 9 to 17. The future village is located in Katunge village, 100 kilometers north of the capital Kathmandu. Through volunteers, children in the village are taught and visited by volunteers, and primary and middle school friends in the village are assisted in holding English and other classes and building campus facilities, so as to create a better learning environment for children in the backward areas. Volunteers who participated in the activity said that the activity challenged their own limits. They had to walk for 8 hours to reach the village of The Future. They felt the hardworking and unsophisticated nature of the Nepalese people.
