Participating in the 23rd International Volunteer Association world volunteer Conference　

首度移師澳洲黃金海岸舉辦的「第二十三屆國際義工協會世界會議暨青年論壇」於九月十七至二十日舉行。作為國際義工協會澳門區代表，澳門義務工作者協會負責組團出席為期四日的世界義工會議。澳門特別行政區政府教育暨青年局、聖公會樂天倫賭博輔導暨健康家庭服務中心、澳門婦聯青年協會亦有派代表參與。本會理事長洪漢銘於地區代表會議中匯報了去年由本會協辦的「第十四屆國際義工協會亞太區義工會議」之成果及頒贈講議集，獲大會好評。

The 23rd International Volunteer Association World Conference and youth forum was held from September 17 to 20. As the representative of the International Volunteer Association of Macao, Macao volunteer association is responsible for organizing a delegation to attend the four-day world volunteer conference. Representatives from the education and Youth Bureau of the government of the Macao Special Administrative Region, lottianlun gambling counseling and health family service center of the Anglican Church, and the Youth Association of the Macao women's Federation also participated. Hong Hanming, President of the association, reported the results of the 14th International Volunteer Association Asia Pacific volunteer conference held last year and presented a lecture collection at the regional representative meeting, which was well received by the conference.

是次會議共吸引超過1000名來自70多個國家及地區的代表參與。世界義工協會會長李康鉉博士正式卸任，由原理事會副主席之Kylee Bates接任，並於閉幕會議中完成交接儀式，同時宣佈墨西哥成為二零一六年是次會議主辦國。

The meeting attracted more than 1000 delegates from more than 70 countries and regions. Dr. Lee Kangxuan, President of the world volunteer association, officially stepped down and was replaced by Kyle Bates, the former vice president of the Council. The handover ceremony was completed at the closing meeting, and Mexico was announced as the host country of the conference in 2016.

在本次會議中，本會將聯合友好聯盟共同前往泰國構建國際義工中心，並選出由本會理事長洪漢銘擔任第一屆友好聯盟主席。友好聯盟包括中山市青年志願者協會、高雄市志願服務協會、台灣志願服務國際交流協會、越南義工資源中心及清邁Volunteer Spirit Network，並於本年十一月三十日至十二月一日一同前往泰國清邁進行實地考察，討論是次活動之詳細內容及活動正式名稱等事項。本會預計活動將於明年復活節期間舉行，帶領澳門義工赴泰國清邁進行國際義工服務，有興趣的市民敬請留意本會告示。

In this meeting, the association will join hands with the friendship alliance to go to Thailand to build an international volunteer center, and Hong Hanming, President of the association, will be elected as the chairman of the first friendship alliance. The friendship alliance includes Zhongshan Youth Volunteer Association, Kaohsiung Volunteer Service Association, Taiwan Volunteer Service International Exchange Association, Vietnam volunteer resource center and Chiang Mai volunteer spirit network. From November 30 to December 1, this year, they went to Chiang Mai, Thailand to discuss the details of the event and the official name of the event.
