由澳門義務工作者協會主辦，泰國義工精神網絡協辦，教育暨青年局及金沙中國有限公司贊助的「2015優秀義工海外服務體驗計劃」於日前圓滿結束。本會帶領十四名優秀義工共赴泰國清邁進行服務學習，協助當地山區鋪設道路、修繕洗手間等，參加者均表示此行獲益良多。

Sponsored by Association of Volunteers Sociao Service Macao, CO sponsored by Thailand volunteer spirit network, and sponsored by  Education and Youth Affairs Bureau and sands China Ltd, the "2015 excellent volunteer overseas service experience program" was successfully completed recently. The association led 14 outstanding volunteers to Chiang Mai, Thailand for service and study, helped the local mountainous areas to pave roads and repair toilets. All participants said that the trip benefited a lot.

是次活動有十四名來自本澳不同中學及社團機構的優秀義工參與，其中八名參加者為本會2014年度全澳優秀義工選舉之得獎者。一行十四人在本會理事長廖玉群帶領下，於4月1日至5日遠赴泰國清邁DOI PHA SON山區，進行五日四夜的義工服務體驗。除了和泰國義工組織交流外，更與當地居民及義工聯手鋪設山區道路，方便居民出行；並為由本會向當地捐獻建造的洗手間進行修繕、髹漆等工作，讓義工親身感受搬運水泥、翻沙剷石的社會參與體驗，為山區永續發展出一分力。

Fourteen outstanding volunteers from different secondary schools and community organizations participated in the event. Eight of them were winners of the 2014 all Australia excellent volunteer election.
